Previously, Martin was senior director of Business Services Division, where he managed the operations, pricing, licensing, distribution and sales across the Server & Tools Business. In that role, Martin spent time with partners, customers, and the Microsoft field optimizing technology offerings to best meet market needs. Prior to that, he held a number of leadership roles in product management for the server platform technologies, including .NET, App Server, Middleware and Web. Before joining Microsoft, Martin served as director at Netscape Communications Corp. Prior to Netscape, Martin founded Stonehenge Group Inc., a company specializing in technology consulting and software resale. Martin is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he completed a bachelor of science in Psychology.
