Eric Frenkiel is the CEO and co-founder of MemSQL, the world’s fastest in-memory database. He is a database expert, and if frequently quoted in the media about his experiences at Facebook, Y Combinator and why faster databases matter. Eric is recognized on the conference circuit and recently spoke to packed audiences at GigaOM Structure and STAC.
Nikita Shamgunov is the CTO and co-founder of MemSQL. He spent six years as a senior database engineer at Microsoft SQL Server. Nikita holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate in computer science, has been awarded several patents and is a world medal holder in ACM programming. That’s right, he won a gold medal for database programming!
