About Conference

UP conference is the premier cloud computing event, covering latest trends and innovations in the world of cloud computing. It was founded in 2010 by Cloudcor Inc® - a global alliance of professionals in cloud computing and an international cloud aggregation centre-point, providing global directions and best practices around the future of Cloud Computing.

The event is hybrid in delivery model which has both virtual and physical elements. UP 2011 Live event takes place Day 1 & Day 2 (December 5 - 6) at the Computer History Museum, Mountain View California USA.

Second annual UP 2011 Cloud Computing conference follows on from the successes of inaugural UP 2010 last year, which provided a communication platform like no other event. Conference panels, workshops, and tutorials are selected to cover a range of the hottest topics in cloud computing. An international network of cloud computing thought leaders from thousands of organisations and individuals participated, creating a fresh, objective and positive outlook on Cloud Computing.

UP 2011 Cloud Awards

The UP-START Cloud Awards was established to cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of cloud computing to the business and technology community. The UP-START awards realize this mission through programs and activities that engage the cloud industry and community as well as the general public. The UP-START awards work in partnership year-round with key players to bring international attention to important issues such as the value and impact of cloud on global economy.

Cloud for Business Computing

This track covers applications for use across business and industry areas to help increase knowledge of what is possible from sales and marketing, customer and contact centers, supply chain of product and services, financials, human resources to specific areas across business including analytics, business intelligence, business process management, location intelligence, operational intelligence, information and data to business focused collaboration.

Technology & Innovation

This track covers the latest technological advances shaping the future of Cloud Computing. Leading Cloud Computing players will discuss visions and perspectives around future technical developments in key areas including; Unified Communications in the Cloud, Cloud Integration, Social Cloud, Cloud 2.0, Application Delivery, Private cloud / Public cloud, Greener Data Centers, High Performance Computing, Cloud Storage, Mobility, Enabling Technologies, Platform as a Service, Virtualization, Software as a Service, Cloud Monitoring, Infrastructure as a Service, amongst other emerging aspects of Cloud Computing.

Cloud For Public Sector/E-Government

This track will cover public sector cloud initiatives, ranging from U.S, UK, European Union and other government initiatives to move to the cloud.
